How I Collect on NBA Top Shot by BayouSniper

Imagine a carefully and selectively curated museum of only the peak career highlights and achievements of a handful of hand-picked players in the NBA. Ranging from rookies to absolute powerhouse superstars, my collection is not for everyone or just any player in the Association. Welcome to collecting “BayouSniper” style. Where there are strict requirements to even enjoy the party down in the bayou.

A Glimpse into My Collection

As of writing this, my collection consists of 315 moments that I absolutely fall in love with time and time again after revisiting each moment of my favorite players. When coursing through the short, but breathtaking views of my collection you may stumble across the #1 serial of sophomore sharpshooter Jordan Hawkins of the New Orleans Pelicans, otherwise known as the original Bayou Sniper, draining a beyond-the-arc bomb his rookie year in Dallas for a career-high 34 points.

Or perhaps you will take a scenic detour and find yourself amongst the top of Mt. Zion Williamson catching back-to-back posters for his #1 serial 2023-2024 Holo in Memphis. While you are at it, why not take a trip down memory lane and find yourself in the presence of budding superstar at the time, Anthony Davis in 2015 rejecting Hall of Fame Chris Bosh on Christmas Day in his #1 serial “Deck the Hoops” moment. These are the qualities of antiques I only allow in my museum of majestic moments of the game we all love.

Beyond the Pelicans

As you can tell, I am a super fan of the New Orleans Pelicans, but my museum of basketball art does not stop there. I enjoy other superstars making guest appearances in my collection like 2024 Finals MVP Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics, or rising rookies like the ultimate Swiss army knife hailing from Washington, Kyshawn George.

However, my collection strategy is very meticulous on the platform. I believe in truly focusing your collection on players you love and support until the end of their career and beyond. I want to tell a story with my collection with the best of the best serials and moments from the players I get thrilled about watching every night in the best league in the world.

A Life in Basketball

I am a basketball coach by trade, so I live and breathe the game. When I am not coaching basketball I am playing it; when I am not playing it, I am watching it, and with NBA TopShot I can now collect it how I see fit to respect the game and my fandom.

Watching the NBA without my moments would never be the same now that I have entered this amazing community of hoop heads that I now call some of my best friends. TopShot has allowed me to win free tickets to games, meet some of my favorite players like Trey Murphy on my birthday, and most importantly make new friends.

While my collection strategy is concise, strict, and small, the friend groups and community I am a part of are not. Thanks to these moments I can share my museum of explosive highlights of my favorite players with some of my now favorite people, who get just as excited as me about the game I love.
